Vernon grandmother, granddaughter share Easter egg art tradition

VERNON — Zoe Sweetman, 12, and her grandmother, Daria Bonomini, do a small exhibition and a class at the Crystal Springs Resort hotel in the painting of Urkrainian Pysanky Easter Eggs.
Zoe, she said, is such a tremendous help in the class and she has become a unique artist of the eggs. She has been doing this type of art since she is 6.
The duo also did a class at St. Andrews Urkrainian Catholic Church in Campbell Hall, N.Y., several weeks ago.
