Skylands Gallery to celebrate Holiday season

WANTAGE — Celebrate the beginning of the holiday season and Skylands Gallery’s 2nd anniversary at our opening reception on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 5:30–9:30 p.m.
Over the past two years Skylands Gallery has hosted receptions for thousands of people and exposed dozens of artists work to the local community. The gallery cooperative has truly become a type of family environment for local artistic talent. Some gallery members have been with the gallery since its inception.
With the holidays right around the corner it's time to start looking for those unique gifts for that certain someone. We've invited our artists and visiting artists to think in terms of "giving." Art is the perfect gift for that person who has everything or the one who needs nothing! Your purchases directly support and foster the arts in our community. All artist members and visiting artists are from Sussex and nearby surrounding counties.
Upwards of 25 artists will have their work on exhibit and for sale at affordable prices perfect for holiday giving, from first-rate craft pieces to oil paintings and modern acrylic pieces.
