The Psychedelicats play groundbreaking acid rock bands that defined, shaped and influenced the psychedelic rock genre (the Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Doors, The Byrds, early Pink Floyd, Steppenwolf, The Yardbirds etc.), chart-topping psychedelic hits and one-hit wonders (Incense and Peppermints, Journey to the Center of the Mind, Pictures of Matchstick Men and countless others) and 60s mega bands that went through a psychedelic period (the Beatles’ Revolver , Sgt Peppers and Magical Mystery Tour, the Rolling Stones’ Satanic Majesty’s Request and the Who’s Who Sell Out and more). Fancying themselves Psychedelic Rock scholars, The Psychedelicats have curated the ultimate psych rock review, recreating the vintage sounds, arrangements and style of 60s and early 70s psychedelic rock.
