Ballroom Magic hosts Halloween Dance

Popeye and Olive Oil, Raggedy Ann and Andy, Colonel Sanders and a chicken all danced the ChaCha at the Ballroom Magic Boo Dance recently.

Katy and Russ Fisher hosted the 4-hour dance party for their regular student dancers and the public. The dance hall was packed with fun costumes and fun people dancing from the waltz to the Samba.

Even the food was Halloween-themed, with “brains”, (cauliflower in red sauce) and interestingly shaped rum balls in ground nuts that looked an awful lot like a kitty litter box.

Ballroom Magic is a dance in Vernon that teaches Ballroom and Latin dances in group and private classes. What many people don’t know is that they host a Friday night social where the public can attend and enjoy dinner, dessert, 4 hours of dance time and a free mini-dance lesson, all for $25 prepaid admission.
