Boating safety course planned in Augusta

AUGUSTA — A “Boat NJ” course will be offered by NJ Boating Safety Classes in Augusta, NJ on Sept. 15 at Visions Federal Credit Union, located at 47 Route 206 Suite 1, from 8:30 a.mk. until 5 p.m.

The "Boat NJ" course meets the State of New Jersey — Division of State Police Marine Law Enforcement requirements for boat safety education. The NJ Boating Safety course is approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and is recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard. Upon successful completion of this course, the students will receive their boating safety certificate as required by law. All boat operators must have the New Jersey Boating Safety certificate since June 2009.
