Heaven Hill Farm offers Sweet Corn & Tomato Festival

VERNON — Between Saturday’s Chamber of Commerce Farm Expo and the weekend’s Sweet Corn & Tomato Festival, workers at Heaven Hill Farm had to be ready for anything.
The two-day festival had a busy schedule planned that included a corn shucking contest, corn sack races, and corn and pie eating contests in addition to the ongoing Action Fun Farm in the field north of the farm.
Action Fun Farm will continue through Sept. 13 every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
