    Patricia E. Levendusky, 70, of Vernon Township, died on Saturday Aug. 8, 2015.

    Patricia was born on July 4, 1945 in Paterson, to the late Joseph and Emma (nee Harsch) Minarick. Patricia was a longtime resident of VernonTownship.

    Patricia received her Bachelor of Arts degree and was a Art teacher for 30 years at the Lakeland Regional High School and retired in 1997. She was a member of both the NJEA and the NEA. She enjoyed painting with water colors and attending her garden. She traveled with her husband and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

    Patricia was predeceased by her husband Roger P. Levendusky in 2013.

    She is survived by her daughter Cindi Findlay and her Companion John Schamarek of Wantage, her sister, Carol Conlin of Cullowhee, N.C., her brother, Joseph and Carol Minarick of Easton, M.D., her step children, Tim and Angie Levendusky of Oak Brook, IL., Bruce and Kim Levendusky of Butler, Lori Cornuaud of Texas, and David Levendusky of West Milford, and her nieces and nephews and grandchildren.

    Relatives and friends were received at the Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Rt. 94, Vernon, on Tuesday Aug. 11 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday Aug. 12 at 9 a.m. for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Francis de Sales RC Church, Vernon. Cremation services will be private.

    In lieu of flowers, donations to Vernon Ambulance Corps or the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice would be appreciated.
