Marching band plans car wash

VERNON — The award-winning Vernon High School Viking Marching Band will hold a car wash Saturday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. until noon at the McAfee Fire House, Route 94 & 517.
These students devote countless hours of hard work to perfect their performances for competition. Donations are needed to help fund the 2015 Viking Marching Band Field Show.
Money raised at Saturday's car wash will be used to cover expenses such as bussing and equipment.
