Locals compete in annual triathlon

    Seventeen-year-old Chris Rudel, of Sparta, was the first to emerge from the water in the first phase of the triathlon.

SPARTA — The 2015 Pass It Along Triathlon took place on Saturday, July 25, at the Lake Mohawk Country Club in Sparta.

The charity event triathlon consists of a half-mile swim, a 10.8 mile bike ride and a 3.1 mile run.
