Heaven Hill Farm plans corn, tomato festival

VERNON — The Sweet Corn & Tomato Festival is planned for Heaven Hill Farm on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 15 and 16 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
The charge will be $10 and children ages 2 and younger will be free.
There will be an Action Fun Farm, a corn shucking contest, a corn maize, hay rides, farm animals, music, a corn kernels play box, the game, Corn Hall, wine tastings, corny foods and earthly delights, corn chowder, roasted sweet corn on the cob, corn dogs and corn fries, corn and tomato salsa, ice cream and donuts.
