Vernon church plans Vacation Bible School

VERNON — The Vernon United Methodist Chuch will host a Vacation Bible School from Aug. 10-14 from 9 a.m. untikl 12:30 p.m. at 303 Rte. 94 in Vernon.
Their VBS theme this summer is Everest, Conquering Challenges with God’s Mighty Power. The kids will embark on an icy expedition where they will learn about overcoming obstacles with God’s awesome power.
VUMC’s VBS is open to children who will be 4 yrs old by Oct. 1 (must be fully potty trained) through those entering grade 6 in the fall. No set registration fee, however monetary and/or non-perishable food pantry donations are greatly appreciated.
