Holy Counselor youth honored

VERNON — Youth who attend Holy Counselor Church were recently honored.
The women of WELCA presented Keegan Duryea with a scholarship after the Outdoor Chapel Service at Holy Counselor Lutheran Church.
Thrivent Financial recently held an essay contest for kids. Children had to write about their favorite Bible story. First place winner was Joan Vince from Holy Counselor Lutheran Church in Vernon and third-place winner was Sam Moller also from Holy Counselor.
