On June 7, 2014, the Vernon Valley Karate Academy sponsored its annual PAL Benefit Karate Tournament. The tournament is held to help raise funds for the Vernon Police Athletic League. This year, the business community joined with the efforts of the Vernon Valley Karate Academy to generate $900 in contributions to the PAL organization.

Once again they have shown their dedication to our township’s young people.

In addition, special thanks are in order for Director Det. Jason Haw, Asst. Director Jeanne Buffalino, Program Director Cindy Rourke and Administrative Assistant Naomi Furrey and all of Vernon’s concerned police officers for their efforts in providing for our children’s recreation and safety.
