    May 28Anthony Lutz, 23, of Sussex, was sentenced to time served and two years of probation. He must also submit to a mental health evaluation, follow recommendations and abide by a curfew.

    He pleaded guilty on March 30, 2015, to Criminal Trespass and Criminal Mischief, both fourth degree crimes.

    The defendant admitted that he kicked in the front door and caused damage while attempting to enter the home of a Sussex resident.

    May 29Carlos R. Velez, 31, of Newark, New Jersey was sentenced to two years of probation and time served.

    He was ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $1,295, pay total fines and penalties of $155 and must submit a DNA sample at his expense.

    Velez pleaded guilty on April 6, 2015 to third degree theft. In pleading guilty, Velez admitted to taking a piece of equipment from a business in Branchville on December 13, 2014.

    The matter was investigated by the New Jersey State Police.

    Caitlin Ream, 25 of Hardyston, was sentenced to time served and fines and fees.

    She pleaded guilty on April 27, 2015, to Defrauding the Administration of a Drug Test, a fourth degree crime.

    Ream admitted to possessing a device that would enable her to defraud a drug screen required as a condition of her probation.

    June 1Logan Zeigler, 23, of Wantage, pleaded guilty to the third degree crimes of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance.

    He also pleaded guilty to motor vehicle tickets for failure to wear a seatbelt, improper passing and driving while suspended.

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for June 26,2015. He admitted to possessing heroin on April 1, 2015 in Hardyston.

    The matter was investigated by the Hardyston Police Department. He also admitted to possessing heroin with intent to distribute it on April 20, 2015 in Franklin Borough.

    June 4Robert Lutz, 31, of Newton, pleaded guilty to two counts of failure to register (crimes of the third degree).

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for July 10, 2015.

    On or about February 7, 2015, the defendant failed to register in the Township of Wantage with the New Jersey State Police as required under the New Jersey Sex Offender Act. Between February 3, 2015 and May 15, 2015, the Defendant again failed to register in the Township of Fredon with the New Jersey State Police as required.

    June 5Christian Priest, 42, of Newton was sentenced to three years of probation, 270 days home detention program, court fines and a six month loss of driver's license.

    He pleaded guilty on March 30, 2015 to the third degree crime of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to selling cocaine to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force on October 15, 2014 in Newton.

    June 8Robert Jackson, 27, of Paterson pleaded guilty to the second-degree crime of possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance.

    He admitted that on August 16, 2013 in Hopatcong he possessed 997 bags of heroin with intent to distribute it to an individual cooperating with the Hopatcong Police Department.

    Michael Gardi, 32, of East Rutherford, pleaded guilty to Contempt of Court, a crime of the fourth degree. Sentencing is presently scheduled for July 17, 2015.

    While on the Home Detention Program with a GPS ankle unit in place the defendant removed the unit and left his court-approved place of confinement.
