Westys Power Team ends season with a win

FRANKLIN — Westys Gymnastics Power Team ended their season with a first place win at a competition they hosted held at the Sparta Fieldhouse on May 31.

Thirty teams from New Jersey, Massachusettes, Maryland and Pennsylvania came out to compete in this all day event.

Power Teams are a United States Gymnastics Association group competitive program and usually have between 6-12 girls that compete together on the following: floor tumbling skills, vault and mini tramp and a dance & skill routine.

Members of the Westys Power team are Coach Paedyn Babcock of Franklin, Amanda Barone, Adriana Barone and Madeline Lupi, all of Stockholm; Sabrina Dispenziere of Sandyston; Makenna Mutz, Katie Mcquade and Samie Copley of Vernon; Sarah Philback of Hardyston; Andrea Piedresanta of Hamburg; Hanna Garafano of Franklin; and Peyton Kane of Ogdensburg.
