Irvin W. Keidel

Irvin W. Keidel, 86, died Saturday June 20, 2015, at Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice in Fredon Twp. Mr. Keidel, son of the late Irvin G. and Myrtle (Gardner) Keidel was born in Utica, N.Y., July 24, 1928. He had resided in Long Island City, N.Y., while maintaining a summer residence in Pleasant Valley Lake, Vernon from 1958 until 1977 when he permanently moved to the Lake.

Mr. Keidel was a security guard at the former Americana Hotel in Vernon. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War.

Mr. Keidel was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth T. Keidel in 2009 and is survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated, Thursday, June 25, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Franklin. Interment will follow at North Hardyston Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, 99 Sparta Ave. Newton, NJ 07860. Arrangements are under the direction of F.
