Vernon Township plans fireworks display

VERNON — Vernon Township's 20th Annual Fireworks Display will be sponsored by the Highland Lakes and Vernon Volunteer Fire Departments on Saturday, July 4, at the Lounsberry Hollow Middle School on Sammis Road in Vernon. Gates will open at 6 p.m. and tickets are $15 for a family or a group of four.
There will be refreshments, food, and a DJ. The rain date for this event will be Sunday, July 5, or next clear night. All proceeds benefit the Highland Lakes and Vernon Volunteer Fire Departments. For more info, please contact (973) 764-9385.
