Students at Glen Meadow on May 29 competed on the court for glory and off the court for local charities.

This second-annual event, organized by GMMS Physical Education Department, under the leadership of Michelle Gagg, was a great success. The students were grouped into 17 enthusiastic teams and created inspiring names.

The winning team was, “The Scrappers.” Second place went to “The Angry Dragons,” and the “Serv-ivors” took third place.

The other purpose of the event was to collect food and raise money for local charities. Teams were encouraged to compete for this collection. The team collecting the most non-perishable food was “Served with a Side of Justice,” who collected 125 boxes of food to be donated to three local church pantries. $1090 was collected by all the students, which was donated to Harvest House.
