    May 15Ion Hutchins, 43, of East Orange was sentenced to five years in state prison, 30 months of parole ineligibility, 163 days jail credit for time served and $1,205 in court fines.

    He pleaded guilty on March 16 to third-degree crime of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance. He admitted to selling 50 bags of heroin at the Holiday Motel in Andover Township on Dec. 3, 2014, to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force.

    May 18Kristopher J. Baglio, 34, of Stanhope pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal trespassing, the disorderly persons offense of resisting arrest and a violation of probation.

    Sentencing is scheduled for July 10, 2015.

    On Feb. 5, in Hopatcong, Baglio was found inside a home without the owner’s consent or knowledge and resisted being handcuffed when police officers attempted to arrest him at the residence. He was serving a probationary term at the time of the incident.

    The matter was investigated by Patrolman R. Sadowski of the Hopatcong Borough Police Department.

    Josephine Shipps, 45, of Belvidere pleaded guilty to third-degree issuing a bad check.

    Sentencing is scheduled for July 17.

    The defendant issued a check for $2,500 to purchase a vehicle from a private citizen, knowing the check would not be honored.

    John Meyer, 39, of Milford pleaded guilty to fourth-degree credit card fraud.

    Sentencing is scheduled for July 10.

    The defendant took a relative’s personal identifying information and tried to open credit cards without permission.

    Charles Perdue, 32, of Sparta pleaded guilty to fourth-degree driving while license is suspended and the motor vehicle offense of driving while intoxicated.

    Sentencing is scheduled for July 10.

    After being pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign on March 24 in Sparta, Perdue admitted to driving with a suspended license. He was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. The matter was investigated by Patrolman K. Morris of the Sparta Township Police Department.

    Ryan Manca, 32, of Franklin was terminated from Drug Court probation and sentenced to four years state prison, fines and fees.

    Prior to termination, the defendant pleaded guilty on April 14 to resisting arrest, a fourth-degree crime.

    The defendant admitted that he ran from a sheriff’s officer who attempted to arrest him on an outstanding warrant.

    Scott Morse, 32, of Hamburg pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a third-degree crime.

    Sentencing is scheduled for July 10.

    The defendant admitted that following a motor vehicle stop for a Title 39 violation, he possessed heroin.

    Jonathan M. Ortiz of Vernon pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is scheduled for July 10.

    He admitted to possessing cocaine on Feb. 20 in Wantage Township.

    The matter was investigated by New Jersey State Police Trooper D. J. Rubino.

    Patrick Fuentes, 26, of Newton pleaded guilty to endangering the welfare of a child, a crime of the third-degree, and invasion of privacy, a crime of the third degree.

    Sentencing is scheduled for July 17.

    May 20Calvin Dolsay, 25, of Hardyston pleaded guilty to pssession of child pornography, a crime of the third degree.

    Sentencing is scheduled for July 16.

    May 22Thomas R. Donnelly, 28, of Belvidere was sentenced to five years of Drug Court probation, over the state's objection. He was ordered to pay restitution to several victims and to have no contact with those victims. He must pay total fines and penalties of $1,280, and submit a DNA sample at his expense.

    He pleaded guilty on March 10 to 10 counts of third-degree burglary and to a violation of probation.

    In pleading guilty, Donnelly admitted to entering residences in Frankford, Hamburg, Andover, White Township, Hope Township, Knowlton Township and Columbia between April 15, 2014, and May 1, 2014, without the owners’ permission or consent and taking items from the homes. He was serving a probationary term at the time of the incidents.

    Shawn Price, 20, of Hopatcong was sentenced to three years of probation.

    He pleaded guilty on March 13 to making terroristic threats, a third-degree crime.

    He threatened to commit a crime of violence with the purpose to terrorize two individuals.
