    Daniel W. Van Beveren died on Friday, June 5, 2015, at Milford Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was 83.

    Son of the late Daniel and Dina Van Beveren, he was born in Passaic, N.J.

    He had lived in Wayne and then Sussex County before moving to Dingmans Ferry, Pa., in 1986.

    He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and the Vietnam Era. He had owned and operated a farm in Wantage, N.J., with his family and was recently a heavy equipment operator for Jaeger Pavement in Dingmans Ferry before he retired.

    Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Barbara (Yott) Van Beveren; five daughters, Barbara Jean Ridner of Lackawaxen, Pa., Marlene Ranich of Spring Hill, Fla., Joy Jennings of Port Jervis, Mildred Singh of Monticello, N.Y., and Susan Eileen Babcock of Dingmans Ferry; and 13 grandchildren.

    He was predeceased by two sons, Daniel Van Beveren and David Van Beveren; and his brothers and sisters.

    Funeral services were scheduled for 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank St. (Route 23), Sussex, N.J. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Wantage, N.J.

    Visitation was set for Wednesday, June 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
