    Billie Caroline Ferrante (nee Dennis), 72 years old, died after an unexpected illness surrounded by her loving family at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Warwick, N.Y., on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Born in Harrodsburg, Ky. Billie proudly served with the United States Marine Corps at the rank of Private First Class (E-2) before moving to Northern New Jersey. She resided in Vernon Twp., N.J., before moving to Warwick, N.Y.

    Billie worked many years in the food and restaurant industry, and was also a college educated teacher who focused on early childhood development. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother and wife, who will be best remembered for her kind and caring personality that so many others looked up to for guidance and comfort.

    Billie is survived by her husband, Joseph Ferrante. Devoted mother of Dominick Hoppe of Section, Ala., Billie Mercadante of Highland Lakes, N.J., Jonathan Ferrante of Middletown, N.Y., and Bonnie Ferrante of Nanuet, N.Y. Loving grandmother of Robert Bush, Taylor Bush and Nico Mercadante whom all adored her.
