Registration open for frisbee tournament

SPARTA — On June 13, local nonprofit Pass It Along will be hosting the 4th Annual Only the Good Sky Young Frisbee Tournament at Sparta Free Evangelical Church, located at 429 Lafayette Rd.

The games will start at 9 a.m. and end at approximately 5 p.m.

The fundraising event is open to all skill levels age 14 years and up.

The event is in honor and memory of Jeff Syberg and Max Briganti, two young men who lost their lives in 2011. Both Jeff and Max were actively involved in Pass It Along and shared the same love and passion for ultimate frisbee.

The registration fee is $20 and $25 after June 1, which includes an event t-shirt and access to the player’s tent where food and beverages will be provided.

Players will be placed on teams so that all teams have a range of skill level. Players will have the option of requesting up to three other players who they would like to play on the same team with no guarantees.

Games will be 45 minutes long. All teams will play three games and prizes will be awarded to the two final teams.

Frisbees, sport apparel, and food will also be available for purchase. All proceeds from the event will benefit Pass It Along.
