    — The Skylands Tea Party will be hosting a debate between the New Jersey Republican Assembly candidates, Tuesday, May 26, at Sussex County Vo-Tech Caféteria, located at 105 North Church Rd.

The debate will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Assembly candidates Marie Bilik, Gail Phoebus and Parker Space are scheduled to attend. Assembly candidate Nathan Orr has a scheduling conflict, according to a news release on the event.

“It is important for everyone to hear where the candidates stand on the issues. We have invited Matt Rooney, founder of Save Jersey, NJ’s #1 Republican political blog, to moderate, giving the voters of the 24 District an unbiased view of the issues we face. Mr. Rooney has accepted our invitation. We have also invited local reporters to serve as panelists," said Tom Clark, president of Skylands Tea Party.
