Township’s annual veteran’s tradition continues

VERNON — The Wallkill Valley VFW Memorial Post 8441 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars once again sponsored the township’s annual Memorial Day parade and ceremonies with additional services and an open house at the post following the main event.
After the long parade made its way down to Veteran’s Memorial Park, a solemn ceremony was held including music performed by the Vernon Township High School Viking Band.
