Coast Guard conducts boating safety course

    The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 15-10, on Lake Hopatcong, will conduct an “About Boating Safely” on Monday, June 15, and Tuesday, June 16, from 6-10 p.m.

    Taught by all volunteer U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary certified instructors licensed by the State of NJ, this course covers all the subjects to satisfy the requirements for the mandatory N.J. Boating Safety Certificate needed by all powerboat operators. The class will take place at the Lake Hopatcong Marine. The fee for the course is $65, and will help to support the volunteer Coast Guard Auxiliary continue promoting recreational boating safety on and around Lake Hopatcong.
