Past council members coming back to finish resource sales

I’m writing in response to Mr. Holowach’s letter in the Advertiser last week. Linda Masson and I are aware of what is going on in regards to the upcoming election. We strongly feel that, all of a sudden, past council members are stampeding to be on the council. The question is why? They sat on the council before and voted yes for the sale of our resources and now they want to come back and finish the job. The Sussex Borough residents should know the truth.

If you are referring to past council members, Mr. Holowach, you were also a past council member. You should Google the Water Infrastructure Protection Act. This was passed after the referendum of the potential sale of the Sussex Borough water/sewer system, to Aqua Water of NJ.

My husband (former Council President) Mr. John Stendor, did a great job for Sussex Borough his accomplishments were many, and he is still well respected in this town.

Linda Masson and I will continue to work on projects that need to be done and there are many. Remember, it takes teamwork to be successful; we don’t need a bunch of back stabbers. We need to stand together and make this town a great place to live.
