    Arthur Sheard, 44, of Newton was sentenced to four years in state prison with 568 days of jail credit for time served and $1,205 in court fines.

    He pleaded guilty on Feb. 9 to the third-degree crime of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.

    In pleading guilty, he admitted to selling heroin to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force on May 21, 2012, in Newton.

    April 27
    William DeJesus, 58, of Newton pleaded guilty to third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is scheduled for June 26.

    DeJesus was found to be in possession of 49 bags of Heroin during an investigation of a disabled motor vehicle in Sparta on Feb. 3. The matter was investigated by Cpl. M. Rubino of the Sparta Township Police Department.

    Jamie A. Tripodi, 34, of Newton pleaded guilty to third-degree possession of a conrolled dangerous substance and to a violation of probation.

    Sentencing is scheduled for June 19.

    During a search of her home by her probation officer on Aug. 20, 2014, several wax folds commonly used to package heroin were found. Tripodi was on probation at the time of the incident. The matter was investigated by Detective N. Mattessich of the Franklin Borough Police Department.

    Steven Zecchino, 33, of Hamburg pleaded guilto the third-degree crime of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is scheduled for May 29.

    He admitted to selling heroin on Jan. 13, in the borough of Hamburg to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force.

    Kurtis Kimble, 26, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., pleaded guilto the third-degree crime of aggravated assault.

    Sentencing is scheduled for June 26.

    He admitted to attempting to cause significant bodily injury to another individual on Nov. 6, 2013, in Newton. The matter was investigated by Newton Police Officer M. Wolanski.

    Dominique Saczawa, 24, of Sparat pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance and to a motor vehicle ticket for obstruction of windshield for vision.

    Sentencing is scheduled for June 19.

    She admitted to possessing with intent to distribute heroin on March 9 in the borough of Franklin. The matter was investigated by Franklin Detective Van der Ploeg.

    Ashley Womack, 29, of Newton pleaded guilty to the third-degree crime of possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is scheduled for June 19.

    She admitted to possessing 30 bags of heroin on Feb. 26 in the town of Newton.

    Shaun M. Cushman, 20, of Montague was sentenced to 2 years of probation and 130 days credit for time served. He was ordered to pay joint and several restitution in the amount of $1,720 and to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations made. He must pay total fines and penalties of $1,455 and submit a DNA sample at his expense.

    He pleaded guilty on Dec. 22, 2014, to defrauding the administration of a drug test, a third-degree crime. On May 22, 2014, in Newton, he attempted to provide a urine sample that did not belong to him during a mandatory drug test. The matter was investigated by the Sussex County Sheriff’s Department.

    He pleaded guilty on March 16 to two counts of third-degree burglary. In pleading guilty, Cushman admitted his part in two burglaries that occurred in Montague on two separate occasions in December 2014. The matter was investigated by Trooper R. Carrasco of the New Jersey State Police.

    Jeremy Vandunk, 44, of Hewitt, was sentenced to two years of probation. He was ordered to pay joint and several restitution in the amount of $4,239 and to have no contact with the victim in this matter. He must pay total fines and penalties of $155 and submit a DNA sample at his expense.

    He pleaded guilty on March 2 to third-degree theft of property mislaid.

    In pleading guilty, Vandunk admitted his part in breaking open a safe and sharing the money found in it with several co-defendants on Nov. 5, 2014, in Vernon. The matter was investigated by Detective S. Fitzgerald of the Vernon Township Police Dept.
