Those visiting Lounsberry Hollow Middle School last Thursday learned that the arts are alive and well and thriving in Vernon Township.

Several hundred people turned out for the “Artstanding” presentation offered at the school.

In addition to music and the thespian arts, hundreds of drawings, painting, and photographs were displayed at the school. The event included artwork from students attending all six of Vernon’s schools.

A series of musical concerts was also included for those attending.
