Woman's club donates backpacks to NAMI

VERNON — As part of its ongoing efforts to support individuals and families impacted by mental illness, the GFWC Vernon Township Woman’s Club donated four large backpacks full of personal care items to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). The backpacks contained towels, soap, shampoo, razors, toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash and flashlights, and will be provided to mental illness patients that are being released from the hospital.
