Roy Garrison

Roy Garrison, 92 years old, died after a brief illness at The Homestead in Frankford Twp., N.J., on Saturday, April 25, 2015. Born to Wilber and Olga Garrison in Sussex, N.J., he was a lifelong resident.

Roy worked as a bottler for Clover Farms and then Dagmar Dale Farms and then worked locally as a handyman for many years until he retired 2 years ago. He took great joy in being outdoors, mowing lawns and tending gardens.

Roy was predeceased by a sister, Bertha Dixon (2005) and was the dear brother of Elmer Garrison and his wife, Kay, of Sussex, N.J. Devoted uncle of Katherine DeGroot and her husband, George of Sussex, N.J. Loving granduncle of Kaitlyn, Jack and Gary DeGroot of Sussex, N.J.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, N.J., on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, from noon until 1 p.m. Funeral service will commence at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Clove Cemetery, Wantage Twp., N.J.
