Janet Maxine Barrett

Janet Maxine Barrett, 77, died Wednesday April 22, 2015, at Chilton Hospital in Pequannock Twp. Mrs. Barrett, daughter of the late William and Nina (Heavner) Carlile, was born in Romney, West Virginia, Jan. 17, 1938. She has resided in Vernon for the past 15 years.

Mrs. Barrett was a registered nurse at Chilton Hospital for 36 years.

She is survived by her children, Teri Lynn Prince of Wantage, Nina Cuccia and her husband, Nick, of Hamburg and Ray Van Luvender and his wife, Dawn, of West Milford; sister, Kathy Jones of Fairmont, W.V.; grandchildren, Ray, Brandon, Katie, William and Diana as well as a great granddaughter, Raeanna.

Funeral services will be held Monday April 27, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt. 94 (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Ct.) Vernon. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
