Bridge replacement to cause headaches for years

| 20 Apr 2015 | 03:27

There is a small two-lane bridge on Route 23 in Wantage near the Double S Diner. This bridge crosses a tiny creek. Most people probably don't even realize it is a bridge The New Jersey Department of Transportation wants to replace it. They tell us that it will cost close to $3 million dollars and will take nearly three years to complete. The state is taking taxpayers for a ride and will cause commuters frustration for years. It is interesting to note that the George Washington Bridge took just four years to build. Is it any wonder that more and more residents of this state are simply giving up and moving out?
