Vernon church plans retreat

VERNON — Our Lady of Fatima Church, located on Breakneck Road in Vernon is planning a Marian Consecration retreat in May. A second informational night is planned for Tuesday, April 21. from 8-9 p.m.

A group of six to eight people will meet weekly and make this retreat together.

Meetings will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church hall, 184 Breakneck Road, Highland Lakes, NJ 07422. Father Bob will facilitate the retreat, whose goal is to prepare a person to consecrate oneself to Jesus through Mary, a Marian consecration. The person lives out that consecration day-by-day.

The small group participants will grow in a personal relationship with Jesus. The preparation and the consecration will benefit the participants, their families and the parish.
