    April 5Erin Ruggiero, 22, of Hamburg was charged with driving while intoxicated after police conducted a motor vehicle stop.

    Police said an investigation revealed Ruggiero was intoxicated while operating her motor vehicle.

    She was released pending an appearance in Vernon Township Municipal Court.

    April 7Eric J. Towell, 23, of Vernon was charged with driving while intoxicated after township police saw a silver Pontiac waving in the lane and crossing over the double-yellow line on Route 94.

    Police said after a stop on Chamonix Drive, further investigation alleged Towell was intoxicated and unable to pass field sobriety tests. He also was charged with failure to keep right.

    Towell was released pending an appearance in Vernon Township Municipal Court.

    April 8Jennifer Vanhouten, 34, of Hamburg was charged on a warrant and James Campilogno was charged with driving with a suspended license after a motor vehicle stop on Route 94 in McAfee.

    Police said the passenger, identified as Vanhouten, was found to have two criminal warrants and one traffic warrant totaling, $1,350 with the highest warrant coming out of Sparta Township.

    Vanhouten was turned over to the Sparta Township Police Dept., where she as sent to the Sussex County Jail in lieu of bail. Campilogno was released from the scene to a licensed driver.
