March 30Jason Peranio, 29, of Sussex was charged on outstanding warrants after police responded to a child-custody dispute.

Police said Peranio was wanted by Franklin Municipal Court and Butler Municipal Court for failing to appear.

Peranio was transported to Vernon Township Police Station, where he was released after posting bail from Franklin and Butler.

Robert Caruso, 49, of Vernon was charged with driving while intoxicated after police were sent to Sundance Court for a reported erratic driver.

Police said an investigation determined Caruso ws intoxicated. He was transported to police headquarters where breath samples allege he was above the legal limit.

Caruso was processed and released pending a Vernon Township Court appearance.

March 31Kevin Kelly of Warwick, N.Y., was charged on multiple arrest warrants after police allege he was traveling north on Route 94 at a high rate of speed.

Police said the vehicle also had an inoperable plate light. Police said a computer check revealed Kelly had several warrants for his arrest from Butler, Cherry Hill, Beach Heaven and West Milford.

He was taken into custody where Kelly posted bail and was released.
