Delores Toedtmann

Dolores (nee Munk) Toedtmann, 84, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015. She was born on Aug. 27, 1930, in Astoria, Queens, N.Y., to the late Johannes and Hedwig (nee Dicke) Munk. She was a resident of Vernon Township for most of her life.

She was a graduate from Berkeley Secretarial School in New York City and was employed as a secretary at the Connecticut General Life Insurance Company, NYNY, and then becoming a homemaker to raise her beloved family.

Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Guenter Toedtmann in 2013.

She is the devoted mother of Lore Toedtmann of Glenwood, N.J., Mark Toedtmann and his wife, Cassandra, of Bloomingdale, N.J., and Roger Toedtmann and his wife, Hope, of Sparta, N.J. She was the loving grandmother of Kristin, Scott, Brian, and Kevin.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Rt. 94 (use 1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ on Tuesday, April 7, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 8. at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to" the Glenwood Pochuck Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
