The Friends of the Dorothy E. Henry branch of the Sussex County Public Library will host Vernon resident Dan Boltz, who will discuss "Cotton."

This is a repeat performance of an earlier lecture given at the Vernon Historical Society.

Born and raised in Quincy, Ill., Boltz attended Florida State University on a basketball scholarship. He went on to his master’s in Industrial Psychology at F.S.U. and met his wife of 54 years, Fran. After associations with IBM and Avon, the textile industry beckoned and he eventually formed his on Company “Bolts from Boltz”.

He has addressed schools and women’s groups in five states and was the keynote speaker at the International Quilt Festival in Lancaster. Pa. Boltz is a man of many interests and claims to be one of the few men in New Jersey who knows the difference between mauve and dusty pink.

This program is suitable for teens through adults. Admission if free with a reception to follow in the Community Room of the Library on Route 94 in Vernon.
