Pearl L. Wood

Pearl L. Wood (nee Smith), 104 years old, died after a long illness on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at the Homestead in Frankford Twp., N.J.

Born to David and Minnie Smith in Sussex, N.J., she lived in Wantage Twp. and Sussex, N.J., for most of her life. Pearl was a dedicated homemaker and was an avid New York Mets Fan.

Pearl is predeceased by her husband, Clinton W. Wood (2001), 3 brothers, Clarence, Bertram and Charles Smith, and a sister, Frances Lantz, and was the devoted aunt of Gail Wilson of Davenport, Fla., and Joan Mann of Lake Alfed, Fla.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, NJ on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, from 11 a.m. to noon.
