Robert J. Meeker, Sr.

Robert J. Meeker, Sr., age 53, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at his residence. Born and raised in Paterson to the late Harry and Eleanor (Henderson) Meeker, Bob had lived in West Milford before moving to Sussex two years ago. He was employed as an auto mechanic for McGuire Chevrolet Cadillac in Newton and most recently had been employed at Franklin-Sussex Hyundai in Sussex. Bob was predeceased by his brother, Harry Meeker. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tracy (Melladew) Meeker; his two sons, Robert J. Meeker, Jr. and Thomas J. Meeker both of Sussex; his two brothers, Kenneth Meeker of Woodland Park and Leo Meeker of Pompton Lakes; and his sister, Terri Burdett of West Milford. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at 8 p.m. at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex.
