Smokey's plans fundraiser for Vernon family

VERNON — Ari Cairns, a senior at Vernon Township High School who is battling Stage 3 cancer, has worked part time at Smokey’s Brick Oven Tavern, alongside her mother, Sue Imbarato, who is a member of the wait staff.

To help one of their own, Smokey’s will hold a Family Night Out to benefit Cairns on Monday, March 30, from 7-9 p.m.

Music will be supplied by D.J. Scott Berge, and there will be chances to win Tricky Tray prizes donated by more than 100 local businesses, along with a 50/50 raffle.
