    Viola G. Romanowski, 90, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at the Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Center, Andover, N.J. Viola was born on Sept. 15, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a resident of Carlstadt, N.J., and Spring Hill, Fla., before moving to Vernon in 2010.

    Viola was a quality control officer for the Lincoln Dress Company in Carlstadt, N.J., for many years before retiring. She was a bookkeeper for the Wallington Gulf Oil Company. She volunteered for Sunday school and a bookkeeper and treasurer for the Assembly of God Church in Passaic, N.J.

    Viola was predeceased by her husband, Edward Romanowski, and her sister, Barbara Souza.

    Viola is survived by her children’ Christine Eccles of Vernon, Edward Romanowski and his wife, Lisa, of West Milford, and Paul Romanowski and his wife, Sherri, of Spring Hill, Fla., and her seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, and her brother-in-law Manny Souza.
