Marie De Korte

Marie De Korte, 79, passed away at the Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare’s Hospital, Dover, N.J., on Sunday March 22, 2015. Marie was born in Paterson, N.J., on April 13, 1935, to the late Charles and Katherine (nee Yates) Marble.

Marie was a resident of Wyckoff and moved to Wantage many years ago. She was a graduate of the Richmond Professional Institute and received her degree in retail. Marie enjoyed raising her family and being a homemaker.

She was predeceased by her sister Jean Reinhartsen.

Marie is survived by her husband of 59 years Donald De Korte, and her daughters, Karen Drossel and her husband, Joseph, of Wantage and Kathy Kieb and her husband, Charles, and her cherished grandchildren, Kaleigh, Joseph, and Christian, and her sisters, Anne Marble of Midland Park, and Carol Gerritsen of Wyckoff and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Wednesday, March 25, at 11:30 a.m. at the Wyckoff Reformed Church Cemetery, 580 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, N.J.

The family suggests donations, to the Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clare’s Hospital, Dover, NJ or the American Diabetes Association. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home, Sussex.
