Vernon officers rescue overdose victim

    Three Vernon police officers — Cpl. Kenneth Kuzicki, Ptl. Ronald Koumaras and Sgt. William Mutz are credit with saving a 32-year-old man after a report of an overdose on Thursday, March 19.

    Police said Koumaras administered two doses of NARCAN.

    With help from the officers, the Vernon Township Volunteer Ambulance Squad and Saint Clare's paramedics brought the patient to consciousness before transporting him to the hospital.
