Vernon VFW holds St. Patrick’s Day party

VERNON — The Wallkill Valley VFW Memorial Post 8441 served about 80 plates of corned beef with related Irish-style food items were served by 5 p.m. Sunday.
The post’s fundraising efforts to pay their sewer hookup fees continue.
Next on the agenda will be a Saturday, April 4, reunion performance of the Vernon-based Scott McBrit Band.
To benefit the post, the cost is $15 and includes entertainment, a buffet, and one free drink. A 50/50 will also be held. All donations are very much appreciated.
