Historical society seeking photo entries

VERNON — The Vernon Township Historical Society is seeking photographs from amateur and professional photographers for an exhibit April 18 and 19 entitled, “All About Vernon.”

For information on submitting photographs, contact 973-764-6545. Submissions are free of charge. The deadline for submission is April 11.

The photography exhibit, which will feature Vernon Township and its places and people, is sponsored by the society in conjunction with the Vernon Township High School Photography Dept. and the high school photography students. The exhibit will be held at the Vernon Senior Citizens Center from 5-9 p.m. on April 18 and 19. There will be a reception and music from a chamber orchestra from 2-5 p.m.

Photographs for submission must be taken in Vernon Township and can include any subject matter in or about Vernon Township, including landscape, architecture, portrait, or fine art photography. Photographs must be a minimum of 8x10 inches in size and must be mounted.
