Eileen Marie Reilly

Eileen Marie Reilly (nee Cass), 89 years old, died peacefully at home on Saturday, March 14, 2015, surrounded by her family. Born in Jersey City, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Elizabeth Cass. For 29 years she has been a resident of Hamburg, N.J., and moved there from Jersey City, N.J.

Eileen was a bookkeeper and retired from St. Francis Hospital, Jersey City, N.J., in 1985. She was a parishioner of St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, Hamburg, N.J. In her leisure time she enjoyed crocheting, reading and visiting with friends and family. She was especially proud of her 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Eileen was predeceased by her husband, John J. Reilly, Sr. (2011) and her sisters, Ethel Tullio, Dorothy Hoover, Lorraine Kot and Blanche Bastek and her brothers, Richard Cass, Raymond and Robert Keating and was the devoted mother of John J. Reilly, Jr. and his wife, Mary Anne of Bayonne, N.J., Eileen Matak and her husband, Henryk, of Vernon Twp., N.J., and Noreen Vasquez of Wantage Twp., N.J. She was the dear sister of Grace Prior of Pittstown, N.J., and cherished by 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, NJ on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at 10 a.m. Funeral mass will be at St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, 4-24 Beaver Run Road, Hamburg, NJ at 11 a.m. Final disposition will be private.
