County to sponsor women's health clinics

HAMBURG — The Sussex County Dept. of Environmental and Public Health Services, Office of Public Health Nursing, will sponsor women's health screenings, including a thin-prep PAP test, clinical breast exam, colorectal testing and mammography scheduling on Monday, March 9, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., Thursday, March 19, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.; and Friday, April 17, from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

The clinics will be held at 201 Wheatsworth Road, Suite 4, Hamburg.

There is no fee for grant-eligible participants. If not, the cost will be $25, cash or check to be collected at the time of the appointment.

This screening is available to county residents who have no insurance to cover routine screenings. Residents who have comprehensive health care insurance, Medicare or Medicaid are not eligible for the clinic.
