Lusscroft Farm to host sugaring open house

WANTAGE — The Annual Maple Sugaring Open House at Lusscroft Farm will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 21-22 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on both days.
Ongoing demonstrations will show you how tap the sugar maple trees, collect the sap, and operate the evaporator. Fresh maple syrup will be available for purchase. Revenue from the maple sugaring operation benefits the ongoing mainentance of the Sugar Shack and supports the upkeep of historic Lusscroft Farm, part of High Point State Park.
