— Pass It Along’s biggest fundraising event of the year is set to take place on July 25 at the quintessential, private lake community of Lake Mohawk.

This year’s sprint distance course is now a USAT sanctioned event and consists of a half-mile swim, 10.8 mile bike and a 3.1 mile run.

Awards will be given to first, second and third place overall male and female participants, relay teams and various age group finishers.

Participants may enter as an individual or part of a two or three person relay team. Options available for individuals that would like to participate in some segments of the race, individuals looking for relay team members, and individuals that would like to have a swim angel, which is an experienced swimmer or lifeguard who provides support shore-side or in the water at open water swimming events, especially for individuals who are nervous, newbies or inexperienced about swimming in open bodies of water.

Participants must pre-register for the event at www.passitalong.org. The closes out at 350 entries.

Last year’s event hosted participants from 16 states. Organizers are anticipating over 800 people will be in attendance this year.
