Tri-State Actors Theater hosts free Make-A-Puppet Workshop

NEWTON — Tri-State Actors Theater will offer a free Hands-On Make-A-Puppet Workshop for children 6 to 12 years old on Saturday, March 14.

The workshop will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the Theatre Gallery at the SpringBoard Shoppes, 145 Spring St., Newton. Participants can create a paper bag or stick puppet. All materials will be provided. Juice and cookies will be served.

Now in its 18th year, the New Jersey Theatre Alliance's Stages Festival offers free and discounted performances, workshops, play readings and behind-the-scenes events for all ages every March. The program was developed to encourage families to attend professional theatre together by making the experience affordable, accessible and exciting. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
